C&W Berry is the UK’s largest single-site builders’ merchant offering over 45,000 products.  

It was founded in 1954 by brothers Colin and Walter Berry as a joinery manufacturer and is still family owned to this day.  

The company is now recognised as the North West’s leading supplier of building materials and the Main Sales Site on Golden Hill Lane covers over 40-acres catering for all aspects of construction, DIY, and home improvement. 


Founded in Leyland, the company experienced initial success and purchased new premises on Golden Hill Lane in 1961. They then began specialising in importing and machining bulk timber, primarily selling to the building trade. This soon expanded to include a wide range of construction materials available to both trade and DIY customers. 

Throughout the 60’s and 70’s the site greatly expanded, and the company soon became recognised as the region’s leading supplier of building materials.  

On the 1st of April 2023, a brand-new bathroom showroom was launched featuring over 30 different displays in a 3,350 square foot building following a 14 month build project.  

Today, the Main Sales Site covers over 40-acres and stocks thousands of products, allowing C&W Berry to offer practically anything required in any construction, building or DIY project. 

The Brief 

C&W Berry target a broad variety of customers including national house builders, tradespersons, keen DIY’ers and homeowners.  

The company had recently made a significant on-site investment and aimed to showcase the new bathroom & landscaping displays to customers browsing online, in addition to driving footfall to the showroom. 

Action: To drive traffic to two new webpages on the C&W Berry website.

The Solution: Bespoke virtual tour with 360° visualisers and video production.

Embedded on the company website, social media channels and Google Business Profiles. Also shown on in-store screens to build awareness to existing  customers  visiting the sales yard.  

Success Measures

Berry Bathrooms page generated 13,174 new users.

Landscaping page generated 4,334 new users.
