The Brief

With a new fleet of fantastic, modernised carriages, Glasgow Subway wanted to reposition themselves as Glasgow’s fresh, ultra-convenient transportation choice, encouraging non and lapsed users to experience the new carriages and make a regular choice to ride them. 

The Insight

As with many Glasgow city businesses, the double damage of covid and the cost-of-living crisis meant many traditional subway users had not since returned and those that have never used Glasgow Subway had perceptions of the journeys that would soon cease to exist.

The Solution

A multi-platform campaign that focused on all the benefits that come from the new carriages, introducing a new audience to Subway, while refreshing lapsed users’ outdated notions of what Glasgow Subway is like. Giving everyone the chance to join the revolution

Initial activations covered out of home, radio, television and online with a sleek, smart art direction telling users the carriages are longer, brighter, quieter and comfier than ever before.  

With further activations covering Clyde 1 partnership, sponsorship and promotion, getting listeners and presenters involved with amazing chances to win on-air, in-person and online.
