Durham High School is one of the North East’s leading independent schools. Catering for pupils aged 3-18, it is unique as being the only girls’ school in County Durham.
Purpose
In advance of their open day, the client looked to target parents of primary and secondary aged girls within the local area to attract them to attend the day.
Message
In line with the client’s values of excellence, nurturing and striving for more, we created a campaign to speak directly to the different talents of young girls and how the school can push them to success.
Action
The aim of the campaign was to drive the traffic to the school’s website and ultimately book their place to attend the open day.

“The entire creative process was useful and made very straightforward by the help and support of the excellent Bauer team. We were involved at every step of the way, and in a short space of time, the creative team were able to capture us perfectly as a school/organisation. We have even taken some of the themes explored forward in other marketing materials. I feel like Digital Audio is an extremely useful, and modern, way of using radio to reach a much more defined audience in a specific target area.
– Jonny Hall, Marketing Manager, Durham Girls School
The results of the campaign were obvious, with many anecdotal references to our fantastic advert and feedback from our Open Day from prospective parents who had heard the campaign.”
