About the Campaign

In partnership with Bauer Media’s Hits Radio Liverpool, Designer Exchange took centre stage at one of the North West’s most stylish events, Ladies Day at Aintree. The ‘Red Rum Runway‘ campaign was built to spotlight the very best of local fashion, and Designer Exchange was positioned as Hits Radio’s official (unofficial) style partner.

This was a Social-First campaign brought to life by Bauer Create and filmed by our in-house team of videographers. From a 6am live broadcast by Hits Radio’s Leanne and Joel from inside Aintree Racecourse, to high-impact video content and a TikTok that reached over 600k views, the campaign was all about capturing and celebrating fashion, fun, and Liverpool glam.

Key elements included:

  • A viral organic TikTok reaching 632.4k views and counting
  • Instagram Reels on @hitsradioliverpool amassing 99.2k views
  • Sponsored social posts and a live competition offering listeners the chance to win a £500 Designer Exchange voucher
  • Filmed and edited video content rolled out across Hits Radio social channels and shared with the client for owned use
  • A 7-day on-air campaign on Hits Radio Liverpool reaching 219,433 Adults 15+ with over 753,000 impacts

Designer Exchange also treated a racegoer to a £500 voucher live on the day, as part of the Style Star of the Day activation, bringing the brand to life through presenter engagement, crowd interaction, and social amplification.
