About the campaign

Get on the air to get in the air was a promotion we ran in January 2018 alongside our breakfast show with Steve & Karen. The premise of the campaign was simple, if you called the show and got through to speak to Steve & Karen, you won a holiday.

The promotion was the talk of the North East during January and we had unprecedented numbers, callers, through to the show as well as a huge response across social media and a spike in website traffic on both Metro Radio and TFM Radio.

Broadway Travel was thrilled with the response and saw an uplift of 20% on all online traffic during January and a 10% increase in sales YOY.

We also came third in the New York Radio Awards for “Most Creative Campaign”.
